Please be aware we are carrying out urgent repair works at Runcorn Town Hall due to a burst water main located on the IN entrance driveway leading up to the car parking area.

Traffic Management in place

• The main "In" road will be completely cordoned off.
• Temporary traffic lights will be installed.
• The "Out" road will operate as a two-way (In and Out) system.
• Warning signage will be placed on Heath Road.

Water Supply Disruption (Tomorrow, Wednesday): 01/07/2026

• Digging works will continue early tomorrow morning.
• Once all the defects have been identified, the water will need to be turned off to undertake the repairs.
• Water to the building will be turned off most likely in the afternoon and will remain off until the repairs are completed.
• This timing aims to minimise disruption to daily operations.

Please allow extra time for your commute and exercise caution when entering or leaving the site, we will endeavour to keep you fully informed as these emergency works progress.

Where possible any persons who can avoid working at Runcorn Town Hall would be advised to work at other council buildings or from home.
